Anson Funderburgh is still best known in the blues world for his exceptionally tight lead guitar playing. His unmistakable style, tone and sensitivity have made him one of contemporary blues’ most distinguished guitarists. Once hailed as one of the brightest rising stars on the American blues scene, whose sharp, biting riffs were the complete opposite of his soft-spoken personality, Funderburgh has evolved into a legendary artist whose influence can be heard in the playing of countless other guitarists.

British pianist Bob Hall is a legendary figure who has played on and contributed to countless blues shows and recordings in his native Britain, particularly during the 1965–1985 period. His credits include Savoy Brown, Brunning Sunflower Blues Band with Peter Green, The Groundhogs, Alexis Korner, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Witherspoon, John Lee Hooker and many more. Later in his career, Bob went on to work with Chuck Berry, Charlie Watts and numerous other major names.
